Completed Jobs
On April 14th, we enthusiastically kicked off work on our Lee St. Project! We were excited to upgrade the old 1956 galvanized line to a brand-new 2-inch CTS, which will greatly enhance our service for everyone. This fantastic update involves approximately 220 ft of new water line in Norway. We had expected this project to take about a week; however, we completed it in less than two days. We genuinely appreciated your understanding as we embark on these wonderful improvements! Kennaugh Excavations will be on hand to provide the digging service, and Patriots Paving will expertly restore the road we work on. Again, the new water line was completely installed by the end of the day on April 15th, thanks to the impressive efforts of my water district crew and Kennaugh Excavation—thank you! Patriots Paving will be arriving within the next week or so to pave our trench line and cutouts, ensuring everything looks great once again.

Dean Ave.
We are planning to start work on Dean Ave. July 22, 2024. We are going to put new water line in from the Fire Hydrant to the end of the road. We will also be installing a new Fire Hydrant. If you have any question please call the office at 207-743-2414

UPDATE
As of July 26 we are nearing the end of road with the new line. The next step is to pressure test the line, and then chlorinate the line, take bacteria to ensure safety. Then the final step is to hook the customers on to the new line
Update
As of July 31 the line is completed. Our next steps are to pressure test the new line, to ensure no leaks. Next we will chlorinate the line. Then the beginning of next week we will start hooking up service.
COMPLETED
As of August 8th, everyone that resides along the new main on Dean Ave. is now officially hooked up to the new water main. We found many leaks in the old Galvanized line, so those customers may see an increase in pressure. I would like to personally Thank everyone on Dean Ave for their patients while the project was being completed. We will pave the section of road that was removed for the water main, as soon as the sewer dept. finishes their project.
