The Norway Water District was established on November 4th, 1941. It was one of the first district to incorporate Floride into its distributed water. This was put into service on October 3rd, 1952. The Norway Reservoir can hold up to 1 million gallons and pumps an average of 180,000 gallons a day, However the district can pump much more if needed. The Norway Water District serves around 740 customers and business and maintains over one hundred hydrants. The Norway Water District is also responsible for the Oxford Water District.
